The transformer series is the main transformer in the traction substation of railway electrification.It transformers 110kV directly to 27.5kV,and connects to the traction network to supply power for electric traction locomotive.Transformer,whose rated power is 10~63MVA,can suit for traction electrification performance characteristics,such as short-time serious over-load,3-phase unbalanced load,frequent close to earth short-circuit,etc.Its main performance features:1.primary 3-phase currents are always balanced system and have no zero-sequence current,so as to eliminate negative sequence component and harmony wave component,and also raise electrification quality,reduce harm to electric equipment.2.Primary 3-phase power is equal to secondary 2-phase power,utilization ratio of transformer power is 100%,so as to reduce production costs raise economic efficiency of electric railway.
